A bit about the show we love: Batman: The Animated Series is a slice of American superhero animated history. Based on DC Comics’ Batman and masterminded by the super team of Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Mitch Brian, this series was brought to life by Warner Bros. Animation. From its debut on Fox Kids on September 5, 1992, to its conclusion on September 15, 1995, the series captivated audiences with 85 riveting episodes. The final 15 episodes even got a makeover with a new on-screen title, The Adventures of Batman & Robin, which was also used for earlier episode reruns. And don’t get us started about Batman: Beyond! This show paved the way for the DC Animated Universe, spawning more animated series, feature films, comics, and video games, with most of the original creative team on board.
