4. A Quiet Place (#4)

Whatever you do, don’t make a sound! 2018 was a banner year for sense-based horror movies, and it all started with the film ranked #4 on the Rotten Tomatoes 200 Best Horror Movies of All Time list: A Quiet Place! The directorial debut of The Office’s John Krasinski, A Quiet Place is a clinic in the build and release of tension that brings a new and original creature to the monster movie genre, something sorely needed in the world of horror.

If they hear you they hunt you. A family must live in silence to avoid mysterious creatures who hunt by sound. Knowing that even the slightest whisper or footstep can bring death, Evelyn and Lee are determined to protect their children while desperately trying to find a way to fight back.

Join Clay, and Amanda as they get in to the ins and outs of sound-based monsters, pregnancy prevention during the apocalypse, why Jim Halpert is such a dick to his daughter, and the finer points of whether or not the Klingons would fare well in this particular cinematic world (spoiler alert: they would not. That pesky Klingon death yell will get you every time)!

Don’t make a sound, don’t sneeze and speak (‘cuz I know what you’re saying, so please stop complaining) and listen in as we get loud and boisterous about A Quiet Place. Will we get eaten by creepy sound monsters?  Listen, and find out!
